Deadline reports Akiva Goldsman has been hired to develop “a new Universe at Legendary Television” based on the TV series’ of Irwin Allen, beginning with Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Land of the Giants and The Time Tunnel.
Black Panther: Okoye
During a recent interview with Pay Or Wait (via /Film), Marvel’s Brad Winderbaum confirmed Disney+ has cancelled its planned Black Panther spinoff series starring Okoye.
I think fans of Okoye are going to be excited to see her come back, but I don’t think it’s going to be in a television show. I can’t say where and when, but I think there’s a lot to look forward to.
The Punisher
However, Entertainment Weekly confirms The Punisher will return for a currently untitled special at Disney+ from director Reinaldo Marcus Green co-written by Jon Bernthal, himself.
