Avengers: Secret Wars

Speaking to TechRadar, Joe Russo discussed how the film will incorporate elements from bot the 1984 and 2015 Secret Wars events in the comics.

Well, we always create our own version of the story. So, we use the comics as loose inspiration… but, you know, I grew up on the original run. That’s something that got me into Marvel comic books. The Hickman run is also fantastic [and they’re] very different from each other in a lot of ways, so we’ll draw inspiration from both of them.


The Chronicles of Narnia

According to Deadline, Daniel Craig is in “super early” discussions to join Greta Gerwig’s Chronicles of Narnia.

During the Firefly reunion panel at Emerald City Comic Con (via PopVerse), Alan Tudyk revealed Jewel Staite will appear in the fourth season of Resident Alien.

Jewel [Staite] is going to be on it. In season 4, which comes out…I don’t know. We’re still shooting it. We’re almost done. We have just about 3 weeks left. The earliest it could even be considered is summer.


Claymore

Deadline reports that CBS and Shuiesha are teaming with Masi Oka to develop a TV series based on the 2001 Norihiro Yagi manga, about a dark fantasy world where enhanced female warriors known as Claymores defend humanity from evil shapeshifting creatures.
