The last few years have seen people nostalgic for the old days of the MCU, and not just because the current era is all over the place. Whatever problems the Infinity Saga had, it’s highs could get pretty high, so much that many like revisiting Avengers: Endgame to have a good time and hang out with some old favorites. If you’re one of those people, Lego’s got something for your nostalgia.
During this weekend’s New York Toy Fair, the company unveiled a new, 621-piece set inspired by Endgame’s final battle that features Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, and other big heroes going up against Thanos in the ruins. Next to the Mad Titan, the biggest figure in the thing is Giant-Man, which is an Ant-Man minifigure that can be put into a fully jointed mech suit. There’s other neat parts too, like Spider-Man, Falcon and Scarlet Witch flying out of portals, Captain America wielding Mjolnir and his cracked shield, and a member of Thanos’ Chitauri army.
All-in-all, it seems to be a pretty cool set. According to Polygon, this marks the first Endgame-themed set to feature the Ant-Man mech, Doctor Strange, and Iron Spider-Man, so that might make it worth grabbing alone. For the creative types, you could probably use this and minifigures from previous Endgame or Marvel sets—of which there’ve been many over the years—to make a Lego recreation of the entire battle in full. (Knowing the animation side of that and Marvel’s communities, that’s probably already being planned.)
Lego’s Avengers: Endgame Final Battle set will release on May 1 for $100.
